Supervision For Mental Health Professionals
Supervision is the cornerstone of clinical training Tamara R. Buckley
Taraka has supervision training from ACA and as a UQ Social Work supervisor and will shortly complete a Latrobe University Art Therapy Supervision training.
Taraka believes Supervision is a collaborative professional growth relationship and be either a talk based supervision covering the various areas of professional work, assisting with your competencies, skills, resilience, motivation, leadership and ethics, and help you grow in your goal areas. You can also use a combination of Art based processes and discussion to work through challenges in the work place, client concerns or systems difficulties and celebrations of your amazing work as a mental health professional.
Art Therapy is an evidence based process that allows reflectivity, self-awareness, and self-expression without necessarily using words. Some of the work you do is extremely challening and deserves excellent support.
